If it all goes to crap....

G got in the car the other day and dramatically announced "if it all goes to crap, I'm going to become a bus driver".

I'm not sure why, at the ripe age of 13, he is already digging deep into alternative plans.
His grades are decent and if he continues on his current academic path, he shouldn't have any problems getting in to college.
Perhaps it stems from his recent poor behavior choices?  I don't think you can be a bus driver if you have convictions.  I should remind him that sassing the dean, regifting found items instead of turning them in to the lost and found and lying to your mom are all indicative of future behaviors that may prevent him from falling back on the bus driving career.

He seems to have put a lot of thought into the bus driving gig.
He is planning to turn his bus route into a version of Cash Cab.  Every ride will include trivia for the students to help make the ride go by and help kids enjoy their time on the way to and from school.

Since there is a span of time in the day when drivers are done dropping off but not quite ready to pick the kids up again, he will spend the middle of his day as an Uber driver.

I was quite entertained by his "goes to crap" plans.  And happy that his lowest low would still involve him having a job!
